Manual handling is the main causes of work-related musculoskeletal disorders in the workplace, accounting for over a third of workplace accidents. The Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992 (as amended in 2002) requires that all employers must ensure training of their staff to perform manual handling operation correctly and safely, to prevent any risks of injury.

At the end of the course, there will be an online assessment, which you will need to pass to complete the course. Answers are marked automatically, allowing you to know straight away whether you have passed. If you haven't, there's no limit on the number of times you can take the final exam.
