The Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA) is a doctoral level program (Level 8 of European Credit Framework) designed to sharpen critical and analytical skills through the application of a sound theoretical framework and rigorous research applicable to real and complex issues in business and management. Delivered by Athena Global Education, the program is tailored for full time working professionals who are looking to improve upon their business problem solving skills, without taking a break from their career.
The 3 year blended program is designed and developed in partnership with Universidad Catolica San Antonio De Murcia (UCAM), Spain. UCAM, ranked among the top 10 universities in Europe by Times Higher Education in 2019 for Quality Education, is fully accredited by the Ministry of Education, Spain. The DBA program is a truly multicultural experience with learners from more than 50 countries across the globe.
The DBA is a 180 ECTS credits program offering a well-structured one year coursework consisting of five modules followed by a research project from the 2nd year. Personal tutor support is provided during the coursework followed by supervisory guidance during the final ;
The modules covered during the program are: 

• Research Methodology and Methods
• Research Issues within Contemporary Management
• Interim Research Project (Pilot Study)
• Designing a Research Project (Thesis Proposal)
• Developing as a Researcher (Individual Reflection)
• Practice-based Thesis (Final Research, Year 2)

If the learner wants to leave the course midway of research or at the start of the research, he will have an option to choose for an Exit Award, that is, Master of Philosophy in Management (MPhil) from UCAM. Exit award fee is applicable. The learner will be allowed to resume his research at a later stage if he wishes to continue his DBA not exceeding 5 years from the date of DBA program blends the academic rigour of a PhD with the business experience of a full-time working professional.
