This module is designed to equip learners with the knowledge and skills to enable them to care for and address the needs of a person and their family after the diagnosis of a life-limiting illness in a dignified, inclusive and holistic manner.
Assessment: Learner Record (70%) and Assignment (30%)
On successful completion of this course the student will be awarded a FETAC Level 5 (Component) Certificate in Palliative Support. This course can be used as one of 8 modules required to attain a FETAC Level 5 Major Award in Healthcare Support.
