Course details
The main goals of the course are to provide information on childhood obesity and its health effects, provide training on body composition assessment within a framework of quality control, and discuss how pediatric nutrition research can generate evidence for policy makers to implement effective interventions.

Participants
The course is designed for researchers and health professionals and will include individuals with an academic degree in medicine, nutrition, food science, biology or other relevant fields.
Pre-requisites
Minimum B.Sc. in medicine, nutrition, food science, biology or other relevant fields and a good knowledge of English.
