Irrespective of whether a company is a manufacturing or service organisation, it must operate in a manner that protects the health and safety of its workforce.
OHSAS 18001, which was published in 1999 and revised in 2007, and the guidance note OHSAS 18002 allow companies to address health & safety issues within a structured and documented management system.
