Course details
On this four part advanced training course you will learn the latest Orthopaedic techniques developed by world-renowned author and lecturer James Waslaski. You will further develop your palpation and assessment skills to distinguish between muscular restrictions, inner fascial adhesion and fibrotic capsular changes.
Training will focus on effective deep tissue massage techniques and how to use gentle, pain free, passive mobilisation techniques to restore full range of motion, create structural alignment, balance the cervical spine muscle groups, and eliminate the underlying postural and structural cause of common cervical spine conditions. Training will include the nature of fascia, the stages of development of joint capsule restrictions, special tests and home care.
Qualification
The award is issued by the Holistic College Dublin.
Examination
This award is based on five Case Studies and practical assessment, where students will work on an Instructor to accurately evaluate their practical skills.

Her qualifications include; Diplomas in Holistic Massage, Yoga Teaching, Healing Therapy, Reflexology, Aromatherapy, Beauty Therapy, Fitness Instruction & Personal Training, Remedial and Sports Massage, Indian Head Massage, Seated On-Site Massage, Pilates Instructor, Dr Vodder’s Manual Lymph Drainage (all levels) and a Higher Diploma in Neuromuscular Therapy. Prenatal (Pregnancy) and Post Partum Massage, Stone Therapy and City & Guilds Certificate and Diploma in Delivering Learning and Occupational First Aid. Alison is also a registered I.T.E.C instructor, and is on the national register of trainers with FAS/ Enterprise Ireland.
Aubrey is a college director at Holistic College Dublin, and program developer for their cutting edge Sports Massage ctheirse and C.P.D. workshops. His 23 years clinical experience and 19 years teaching experience, enables him to bring high standards of professionalism and expertise to each diploma ctheirse. His qualifications include: Diplomas in Holistic Massage, Yoga Teaching, Reflexology, Aromatherapy, Healing Therapy, Indian Head Massage, Seated On-Site Massage, Stone Therapy, Pregnancy Massage, Fitness Instruction and Personal training, Therapeutic Massage, Sports Massage, Orthopedic Massage and certificates in Delivering Learning and Occupational First Aid. Aubrey has a particular interest in the pain free treatment of over-use, repetitive strain and chronic injuries. Aubrey is also a registered I.T.E.C instructor, and is on the national register of trainers with FAS/ Enterprise Ireland.
