This course provides participants with the ability to establish the cause or causes of accidents and incidents and develop systems to prevent a re-occurrence.LEARNING OBJECTIVES
On successful completion of the course, participants will be able to:
• Appreciate the impact of incidents and accidents on projects
• Appreciate the legal effects of incidents and accidents
• Follow a systematic accident investigation procedure that establishes the cause or causes of accidents and incidents
• Collect, analyze and communicate accident data effectively
• Appreciate the purpose of investigation accidents, incidents, cases of work-related ill health and other occurrences
• Know the legal and organizational requirements for recording and reporting such incidents.
ASSESSMENT
There will be a Written Assessment for this course.
CERTIFICATE
Upon successful completion, participants will be awarded a Certificate of Attendance from Oil Gas Safety Council.
