Course details
On-site massage is convenient, accessible and affordable. For these reasons it has been quick to gain popularity with the public. On-site massage is intended for use as a quick ‘Stress Buster’, delivering the maximum amount of relaxation in the minimum amount of time. With treatment times ranging from 10 to 30 minutes, a treatment can be done in the work place or during a lunch break. As treatment is performed through clothing, in an ergonomically designed massage chair, it is also ideal for any public setting and is popular in shopping centres and airports.
This course teaches a seated acupressure treatment using classical swedish style massage strokes, elbow work and specific body mechanics to help locate the acupressure points along energy meridians. This treatment can effectively reduce tension in the neck and shoulders, head, back and arms and aims to alleviate the syptoms of repetitive strain.
