    This course is designed to equip students with the necessary office skills and knowledge of computer applications used in the office. Working in administration involves a variety of skills in providing support to an office or department in studying word processing, transcription, letter writing, dealing with telephone and e-mail enquiries, creating and maintaining filing systems, keeping diaries and arranging meetings / appointments. This course also suits learners who wish to defer their college place for a year and acquire good IT skills to assist them in their future studies. Successful graduates of this course may progress to a FETAC Level 6 Advanced Certificate in Business here at Castlebar College of Further Education.
