Who should attend?
- As required by The Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (General Application) Regulations 2007 (S.I. No. 299 of 2007):
- Anyone qualified as an Occupational 1st Aider whose certificate is in date and not FETAC Level 5 accredited
- Anyone qualified as a FETAC Level 5 Occupational 1st Aider must attend a 1 Day Occupational 1st Aid Refresher Course every two years
- This course includes Cardiac 1st Responder training in automated external defibrillators (AEDs) as per PHECC standard and administering aspirin for heart attack patients. This program is delivered as 1 day course by Certified Occupational 1st Aid Instructor from the OFAAA register.
