Course details

This is a foun­da­tion course for stu­dents wish­ing to train as nurses both here in Ire­land and in the UK. Stu­dents achiev­ing good grades dur­ing this course can apply to gain entry to Nurs­ing Degree courses through the QQI entry sys­tem. This course pro­vides stu­dents with a solid foun­da­tion in nurs­ing the­ory and prac­tice and allows stu­dents to accu­rately assess their suit­abil­ity for a career in nurs­ing. Appli­ca­tions are also invited from mature stu­dents wish­ing to pur­sue a career in nursing.

Pro­gres­sion and Career Options:

This course has very high pro­gres­sion rates to Nurs­ing Degree courses in Insti­tutes of Tech­nol­ogy and Uni­ver­si­ties in Ire­land. The col­lege also has strong links with a num­ber of UK based Nurse Train­ing Colleges.
