Course details

The purpose of this award is to enable the learner to acquire the knowledge, skills, and competence to work under supervision in a variety of hospital and other healthcare settings and/or to progress to further and or higher education and training. This course serves as a foundation for those who wish to pursue a career in the nursing profession.

Course Requirements

Leaving Cert or its equivalent (approximately 300 points to include ordinary level or higher Maths and English). Suitability for this course will be assessed at interview

Graduates who achieve the required standard may progress to further studies in IT Colleges/Universities through the Higher Education Links Scheme as outlined in this brochure. Graduates can also apply through UCAS to access nursing training in universities in the U.K.
