Network Administration Certificate

Course details

The goal of this program is to train students to an exceptionally high standard in network planning, implementation, administration and support. Through this program, students also achieve requisite skills in computer maintenance and management. This certificate is based on industry certification requirements as determined by Microsoft, CompTIA, and Cisco. The course maps directly to the certification pathways for recognized one or few of following designations such as:

• CompTIA A+ Essentials
• CompTIA Network +
• CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate)

The certification for these designations is administered through outside agencies. There are additional costs for each exam, payable to the Authorized Testing Center. Completion of those outside examinations is not required for college program graduation.

This certificate program is instructor-driven, allowing students to navigate quickly through theory and networking software. The curriculum includes experiential lectures and workshops facilitated by specialized industry experts - instructors have relevant designations and are Microsoft Certified Trainers (MCT's) with work experience in the industry. The elective option for this program allows students to diversify in the area of expertise they would like to work-in upon graduation. The successful completion of all courses is required for program graduation.
