The assessment process for delegates consists of an examination (2 papers; IGC1 and IFC1), both of which are 2 hours and are taken on the same day. In addition there is a practical health and safety assessment of a workplace, (FC2). Delegates must achieve the pass standard in both examination papers and in the practical assessment to be awarded the International Certificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management.
Please note that NEBOSH have a Reasonable Adjustments and Special Consideration Policy.
NEBOSH schedule examinations dates four times per year: March, June, September and December. Candidates are prepared for the next available examination date.
Unit FC2 is carried out in the delegate’s own workplace. The aim of the practical assessment is to test your ability to apply knowledge of the unit IGC1 and IFC1 syllabi by successful completion of a fire risk assessment within the workplace.
