Accreditation:

The Academy is in academic association with Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL) in Switzerland, the oldest and most respected hospitality school in the world and this association ensures the quality of all the study programmes offered. Course Overview

This is the first fully accredited Master of Science in International Hospitality Management degree within the region and it is recognised globally by leading universities and the wider hospitality industry. The content and structure of this programme is based on extensive research to ensure that it provides cutting edge knowledge that builds on undergraduate studies. Over 60 senior executives world-wide have contributed to the design and content of the degree and it is benchmarked against 15 other internationally renowned Masters-level programmes.

The MSc programme adopts a modular mode and it can be completed full time over 1 year. Each module’s duration is one month and involves about 40 contact hours and another 100 hours of self-directed study. There are a total of 9 modules to be completed plus a formal academic thesis.

The minimum requirement for application is:

• A Bachelor’s degree or recognised equivalent from an accredited university with a minimum grade-point average (GPA) of 3.0 (out of 4.0) 
• Sufficient relevant work experience – normally at least 1 year at supervisory level 
• A paper-based TOEFL score of 600 or IELTS overall band of 7.0 (The TOEFL / IELTS test is a UAE Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research requirement and is mandatory for ALL students even if English is their first language).
