With the Baby Boomer generation aging into retirement, non-profits are looking to the Millennials to fill gaps in volunteer roles. But many organizations are struggling to recruit and retain this generation, as they have a few particular needs and desires.
This course focuses on the unique perspective of Millennials so that volunteer organizers are better able to reach these young people and place them in a variety of volunteer roles within their organizations.
Because many volunteer organizers do not have marketing background, this course also includes an emphasis on basic marketing principles and ties them back into creating and utilizing a Millennial-focused marketing plan.
