Course details

This course covers working with the navigation framework for Windows Store apps using Visual Studio 2013 and HTML5. This includes common navigation patterns and implementing the app bar. The course also demonstrates how to pick contacts in an app using a contact picker object. The course shows how to configure start screen tiles, secondary tiles, and tile notifications. The configuration of notifications through badges and toasts is also illustrated.
