Course Opjective:

The goal of this online instructor-led course is to provide project managers or project schedulers the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively to create, update & maintain projects using Microsoft Project Professional 2010 in a Project Server environment. Project Managers are taught how to create project plans and publish the plans to the server environment enabling them to collaborate with Team Members using Project Web App (PWA) and maintain their project documents, issues, risks and track key deliverables within Project Server.

Online Course Format:

This remote course is conducted by a live instructor who will walk through the steps on how to use Project 2010 and Project Server 2010 using an online remote environment and give the students opportunity to ask questions. If students have MS Project 2010 and a Project Server 2010 environment to connect to, they can follow the steps on their own as the content is being delivered. A practice exercise will be distributed at the end of the first two sessions providing an opportunity for practice. There will be a review questions on the previous days content to help the instructor determine what topics should be reviewed before introducing new content. Participants will also receive a quick reference guide for the step by step instructions.
