Physiology of Cellular Systems in Animals, Neurophysiology and Homeostatic control of the Human Body, Laboratory Techniques, Microbiology, Cell Biology 1, Biochemistry of Macromolecules and Metabolic Pathways 1, Analysis of Scientific Data and Information, Chemistry for Applied Biologists 1, Chemical Laboratory Techniques 1.
YEAR 2
Cell Biology 2, Biochemistry of Macromolecules 2, Molecular Biology and Genetics, Infectious Diseases, The Immune Response System, Applied Genetics of Industry Agriculture and Medicine, Medicinal Chemistry, Project for Applied Science, Chemistry for Applied Biologists 2, Chemical Laboratory Techniques 2, Managing The Work of Individuals and Teams (subject to change)
CERTIFICATION
Higher National Diploma (Edexcel) in Applied Biology
ENTRY REquirements
Interview and Leaving Certificate with a minimum of 5 passes, one to include a Science subject. Minimum D1 in ordinary level Maths. Mature students are welcome.
