Course details

This course is comprised of explanations and step-by-step demonstrations of some advanced uses available in the Posting module.

Topics currently included in this lecture are:

1.Inbound Queue: this allows you to pull charges from your EHR vendor into the MedEvolve system.

2.Moving and Transferring Money: this can either be done from visit-to-visit or from account-to-account in the PM system. This lecture also illustrates how to set up an adjustment.

3.Posting Reversals: the following are different types of transaction reversals available in our system:

     ( C ) = Charges (Debit)

     ( C ) = Charge Reversal ( Credit)

     ( P ) = Private Payment ( Credit)

     ( PP ) = Private Payment Reversal ( Debit)

     ( I ) = Insurance Payment (Credit)

     ( II ) = Insurance payment Reversal ( Debit)

     ( A ) = Adjustment ( Credit)

     ( AA ) = Adjustment Reversals (Debit)

4.Unapplied Payment: this can be accessed through Scheduling and or Posting.

5.Refilling Charges: this can be accessed through Account and or Account Visit Transaction.

6.Balance Forwards: can be moved from your legacy system to our system. To do this however, you must have the following:

     CPT cods(s)

     Adjustment code(s)

There is also a description of how to create an adjustment and post it to a patient account.
