Course details
Solving a quadratic by factoring is a very common technique that is used in many different math courses. To become an expert in this field one will have to practice and have a solid instruction on how to work different types of quadratics. This course will only take a couple of hours to complete but is designed to be used over a couple of days to ensure mastery. The course is broken down into three different sections

- Conclusion
To prepare the student for the course the introduction section provides what you need to know in order to factor when a is not equal to one as well as essential questions that you should think about while you are working through the course.
The examples section provides enough examples for mastery in factoring as well as helpful hints for each problem. If you still get stuck or want to check your answer, each example has a step by step tutorial.
The course concludes with with a summary of why and how we solve by factoring as well as common mistakes to watch out for. Once you feel you have a grasp of factoring when a is not one you can try a couple of the extension problems.
