In partnership with Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), the University of Calgary in Qatar offers a course-based Master of Nursing - Advanced Practice degree program in oncology nursing. The course-based program is a full time program requiring full time work release.
The next intake is January 2016 with a focus of oncology in support of the Qatar National Cancer Strategy. We anticipate a small intake which is dependent on available resources. Local nurses who graduate from the program will be qualified to take on advanced practice roles with HMC to contribute to evidence-informed, high quality cancer care.
