Master of Education (Coursework)This three-trimester coursework degree is designed to provide the education profession and the wider community in general with leaders capable of addressing critical issues in educational practice, policy and research. The course is designed for teachers, educational administrators, and other education professionals who seek to extend and deepen their expertise.
If you're a qualified teacher, educational administrator or professional, this course will assist you to become a leader in educational practice, policy and research. This course provides you with the flexibility to focus on areas of specific interest to you and refine your teaching, learning and assessment expertise.
This is a coursework-classified course. In addition to completing 24 credit points of electives, you will undertake two core 6 point units, one a research-based project and the other an introduction to educational research methods. Updated on 02 February, 2021
Eligibility / Requirements
Recognised Bachelor's degree or higher, or equivalent training, and a graduate-entry course in Education requiring at least a half year of full-time study, or part-time equivalent, OR three-year Bachelor of Arts in Education OR individual applications to be considered on a case-by-case basis. Applicants will need to demonstrate that experience gained in any studies and or professional experience has provided them with the knowledge and skills to undertake the Master of Education.
