This MBA programme is designed for working professionals who are seeking to become more effective and enterprising managers in a knowledge-based global economy. Students of this programme will be able to apply knowledge and understanding of business and management to complex issues, both systematically and creatively, to improve business and management practice. They will be able to work with self-direction and originality and to contribute to business and society at large.  Management as a study area is distinctive in that it is interdisciplinary and draws upon a wide range of soft and hard sciences. Majan College is the first private college in the Sultanate of Oman. Established in 1995 by Royal Decree, the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry played a major role in the formation of the College which was known at the time as the College of Administrative Sciences. The College is located on a single campus in Darsait which is home to a multi-cultural academic community with more than a hundred multiethnic staff from various countries and a student population of over 1800. Majan is an accredited college of the University of Bedfordshire, UK and operates under the supervision of the Ministry of Higher Education, Oman. It offers undergraduate and post graduate degrees in Business Management, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Computing and Information Technology and English Language through full-time and part-time modes of study.
