The Master of Business is an exciting one-year programme dedicated to enabling business studies graduates to deepen their business knowledge and extend their strategic capabilities. Graduates will be ready to enter the employment market or create their own business, and develop into leaders who will guide and create tomorrow's businesses. Lecturers have wide experience and knowledge of business development. The Institute is a leader in promoting local enterprise and germinating new potential businesses. The institute has also developed links with the master of business degree in Heilbronn University, Germany, which facilitates students on an exchange programme.
The Master of Business is designed to give a critical awareness of concepts, debates, current problems, issues and insights in business and to help develop high level knowledge and practical skills needed to analyse business situations, to think strategically and to undertake business planning. The programme has been redesigned in 2012 to ensure that it is meeting the needs of both employers and students alike, and at the cutting edge of global business developments. For graduates who want to develop a business of their own, the link between the M. Business and the Young Entrepreneur Programme will facilitate students who wish to interact and network with top-class local and global entrepreneurs who will help bring their business idea and concept to reality.
Guest speakers from industry are a key component of the programme. IT, Tralee has a tradition of small group teaching so you will have maximum opportunity to engage with the tutors on your course.

Entry Requirements - More Information
The normal requirement for entry is an honours business degree. However, Candidates with extensive practical or professional experience and nonstandard qualifications are welcome to apply and may be admitted to the programme on the basis of their experience, which will be assessed via the Institute's APL/APEL process.
