This course exists to help you to master jazz piano.
Suitable for all standards, from aspiring beginners to accomplished advanced players, this course contains extensive training and insights on all aspects of jazz piano. In particular, this course teaches students how to de-construct and model the playing of the great jazz pianist, Oscar Peterson, as a central case study of how to learn and master jazz piano.
The course is taught primarily through numerous instructional videos, and includes additional audio and written materials. Prior knowledge of music and harmony, as well as reading written music, is not required. The course is structured in such a way that students can review the curriculum and begin wherever is most appropriate to their standard.
The course can be worked through at your own pace; whether covering several hours a day intensively, or working through a lecture every couple of weeks. The course is continually expanding as new lectures and resources are added, making this a truly lifelong resource for anyone passionate about jazz.
