In this course, participants will be introduced to several management practices that lead to “Management Effectiveness”.
Course Objectives:
- Practice the eleven critical management skills
- Use leadership concepts and ten leadership competencies in the duties of a manager
- Write a personal mission and self-evaluate his/her ten leadership capabilities
- Apply the four leadership styles to cope with different situations

Module 2: Understanding Leadership
- The concept of leadership
- Your leadership strengths and weaknesses
- The 10 leadership competencies
Module 3: Personal Mission
- What is your own personal mission?
- Assess your leadership strengths and weaknesses
Module 4:Leading According to the Situation
- The four different models of staff members according to their competences and commitment
- The four situational leadership styles according to the level of supportive and directive behaviors
- Matching the four leadership styles with the suitable situation and type of staff members
Assessment Strategy:
Participants will be informally assessed on their interaction during sessions and their participation in exercises and/or role plays
