The MA in Training and Education offers a facility for those in education and training to revitalize their teaching and training and building on their existing skills and competencies, sharing practice and experience, and being introduced to leading edge research, support tools, pedagogies and resources. It is designed to create a collaborative, reflective and developing community of practitioners, in a structured way.

The course objectives are for formal recognition of teaching and training experience with professional development e-portfolio of evidence showing highlights of teaching / training experience which can be used for career development and teaching. The cross-fertilization and learning from both industry and academia, and application of the same to ensure development of academically robust programmes that are informed and driven by business imperatives and models.

During the course you will be exposed to vital networking opportunities with fellow teachers and trainers on the programme offering a natural and vibrant forum for innovation and entrepreneurial programme development.

Griffith College Training and Education Faculty offers a facility for those in education and training to revitalise their teaching and training by building on their existing skills and competencies, sharing practice and experience, and being introduced to leading edge research, support tools, pedagogies and resources. It is designed to create a collaborative, reflective and developing community of practitioners, in a structured way. Participants on this programme will be encouraged to engage with the theoretical and research issues which will allow them to connect with continued self-reflective practice. The objective is that this, in turn, will act as strong change catalysts to enable advanced training and educational programme design and delivery.

The programme has three exit stages. The first semester is the same as the special purpose award, the next semester is equalivent to the postgraduate diploma. The final stage the desertion is what turns this course into a Masters. It should be noted that students who have previously studied the first two stages may now go on to complete the masters programme.
