MA Finance programme is structured to provide an international quality education in Finance, Economics and Econometrics for students with an interest in, and aptitude for, Finance but no necessary prior background. This programme provides rigorous graduate level training in Finance to a standard appropriate to a professional practitioner.
The programme is designed to help the student become a problem solver and therefore enhance their flexibility in the job market. It is a stimulating and challenging degree that aims to provide the student with a wide range of skills demanded by the financial sector. Successful graduates attain economic, quantitative and communication skills that are highly sought by employers in the public and private sectors.
Entry Requirements
An honours primary degree in any discipline. Students without any knowledge of Finance are strongly advised to have a good background in Statistics and Quantitative Methods and/or to be prepared to undertake substantial independent study to equip themselves with the expected level of Finance. Applicants must have a recognised primary degree which is considered equivalent to Irish university primary degree level.
