Taught M.A. in Language and Literature 2014/15
The English Department in Mary Immaculate College, University of Limerick, has offered a highly-successful and popular taught M.A. degree programme in Modern English Literature since September 2002. This programme is designed for full-time students and we normally accept ten students each year.
AIMS OF THE PROGRAMME
- To widen and deepen student's knowledge and appreciation of English literature and contemporary critical theory
- To familiarise students with traditional and modern technological sources for research in English literature
- To equip students with the knowledge and skills required for doctoral studies
- To enhance students' career opportunities

ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants should have an honours primary degree with English as a final year subject. Other suitably qualified candidates may also apply. Applicants may be required to attend for interview. A minor thesis proposal should be submitted with the application.
