There is an increased awareness of the critical need to archive our wonderful but quicklydisappearing oral cuture. This programme allows students to explore the cultural landscape around them with a view to recording local people for posterity in such areas as storytelling, music and community traditions. It combines subjects such as Folklore and Cultural and Social History with journalistic recording techniques.
