This course is teaches the basics of using the linux shell, and is intended as a first course in using the terminal. This course is lite version of our main course Linux Shell Course for Beginners. In this course you'll learn how to navigate the directory structure, show the contents of directories, how to understand and work with file permissions and more.

• Listing a directory's contents

• Understanding file permissions

• Changing permissions

Actual course will explore various aspects of the shell, such as scripting, using utilities such as grep and sed, C and Perl programming in linux, and the file structure.
