Course details

This programme is designed for those who have experienced mental health difficulties and takes a comprehensive approach to a person’s recovery. The programme includes training in stress management and relaxation techniques, creative exploration, computers and career planning. Participants are helped to set life goals, engage in work experience and develop sustainable links in the community. The objective for each participant is to have a clearer understanding of their own recovery goals and acquire a strengthened set of skills to allow them to make informed choices about their future.

Communications, Horticulture, Self Advocacy, Preparation for Work, Job Seeking Skills, Word Processing, Key Boarding, Desk Top Publishing, Data Base, Spreadsheets, Internet, Typewriting, Written Business Communication Skills, ECDL 1-7 (Basic concepts of IT, Using the Computer and Managing Files, Word Processing, Spreadsheets, Databases, Presentation and Drawing, Information and Communication.
