Course details
The course is full-time and requires attendance five days per week and is of two years duration. Students undertake a block of work experience in each year. Students are given extensive training in playing a variety of sports and leisure pursuits along with a comprehensive range of subjects in the areas of leisure management and administration.

Sports Halls, Swimming Pools, Leisure Pools, Leisure Centres, Hotel Leisure Facilities, Outdoor Education Centres, National Governing Bodies of Sport, Schools, Sales and Marketing, Sports Development and Sports Retail Outlets.

Students can participate in a variety of sports at Higher Education Level. These sports may include: Gaelic Football, Soccer, Basketball & Rugby. The following sports are also catered for at CDVEC Level: Cross-country, Track and Field Athletics, Swimming and Golf.
