Leaving Certificate-E Royal Irish Academy of Music
Price: (395 Euro Teaching Member) (495 Euro Non-Member)

    Course details

The course will be delivered on a weekly basis, through a variety of comprehensive handouts, sound files, podcasts and screencasts to help you with your study. There will be dedicated weeks for each of the set works from the Set B course and the composition paper as well as the Irish music listening question. Each week the worksheets and handouts will examine the marking scheme and always base the information studied on past questions  from the Leaving cert papers. We will focus on the thematic material of each of the set works pieces as well as examples for the composition questions. At the end of each week participants must submit a completed assignment, which will be based on the topic of study for that week. As part of the E-course there will be a two-hour live online forum once a month to allow the Tutor to answer questions on the course work and assignments and to address any difficulties that might arise.

Kim Fallen Bailey will correct each assignment and your final mark will be your average mark from across the 16 weeks. Participants who receive a mark of 60% or greater will receive a certificate stating that the candidate has successfully completed the course. (Please note, this certificate will not entitle the holder to add any qualifications to their name).
