In 2004, I produced a song entitled "Many Men on Hip-Hop artist 50 Cent's debut album, "Get Rich or Die Tryin". I began receiving emails from aspiring beat makers and producers from around the world, requesting help from me, an "American Hip-Hop producer. My response to the call was education: I began creating video tutorials and learning tools for beat makers. Being accessible to learners changed the direction of my career and guided my passion for music education.
In this class I will address some of the most fundamental aspects of launching a Hip-Hop production company. Students will also be equipped with necessary information that will help them avoid typical pitfalls that aspiring beat makers, producers or production companies encounter. Most importantly, this class will inspire and motivate students to take a leap and pursue their dreams with confidence.
