This is a short course to understand how to look at financial performance of a company vs the peers in industry. We lay out a framework to assess the health of a company and outline a few ratios that are critical in this exercise. The students will learn how to rank companies in an industry based on the performance of financial ratios.

This course is look at financial performance of companies based on the financial statements that they publish. We will differentiate the good performing companies from the bad ones using a few parameters and metrics.

This is mostly a presentation that has been used for the course. You can sit back with a cup of coffee and learn this course. There is a recommended practice exercise which may be interest to you.
