IIL: IASSC Accredited Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification Training
Prerequisites:
To enroll in this advanced course, participants must have completed IIL's Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification or possess an equivalent qualification.
Course Level: Advanced
Advance your Lean Six Sigma expertise with IIL's Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification program. Designed specifically for Green Belts looking to elevate their skills, this course covers advanced statistical analysis and organizational change management concepts not included in Green Belt training. The program is delivered through sixteen 3-hour online sessions or eight traditional classroom days, providing a flexible learning experience.
Performance Focus:
Lean Six Sigma Green Belts often rely on Black Belts or Master Black Belts for advanced statistical analyses to identify root causes and optimize process improvements. This course empowers Green Belts with hands-on practice in critical techniques such as:
- Statistical Process Control
- Measurement System Analysis (MSA)
- Hypothesis Testing
- Correlation and Regression
- Design of Experiments (DOE)
Throughout the course, participants will work on real-world improvement projects from their own business environments, ensuring hands-on learning and immediate ROI for their organizations. IIL instructors will offer free project coaching to support your success.
What You Will Learn:
By the end of this course, you will be able to:
- Utilize Minitab statistical software effectively.
- Determine optimal sampling strategies, sample sizes, and confidence intervals.
- Understand the difference between long-term and short-term process capability.
- Measure rework, waste, and scrap by calculating yield metrics.
- Develop and analyze control charts for both continuous and discrete data.
- Conduct a comprehensive measurement system analysis.
- Apply hypothesis tests to compare variance, means, and proportions.
- Execute regression and residual analyses.
- Design and analyze experiments for process improvement.
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification Requirements:
To earn the IIL Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification, participants must meet the following requirements:
- Complete IIL course attendance.
- Pass the IIL Lean Six Sigma Black Belt exam (online).
- Complete 30 questions after each four-week period (total of 120 questions across 4 exams) with a minimum passing score of 70% for each exam.
