The Management Works Lean Business Programme is already helping dozens of businesses in Ireland to reap the benefits of lean business tools and lean thinking.

This course is for any manufacturing or service company where efficiency is a critical factor in success. Participants can be operators, supervisors and/or managers. We will work with you to select a team of up to three participants from your company. Each participant will deliver a worthwhile project in their area of the business.

About Waterford Chamber Skillnet

Skillnets is an enterprise-led support body whose mission is to enhance the skills of people in employment in Irish industry to support competitiveness and employability. The organisation is led by employer and employee stakeholders – IBEC, CCI, SFA, CIF, ICTU – in partnership with the Department of Enterprise Trade and Employment and receives funds from the National Training Fund.

They work closely with members and trainer providers including WIT to develop/deliver programmes required by you allowing your business to manage shift cycles and upskill staff with far greater results. Such programmes may also lead to a QQI/WIT certification and act as the perfect stepping stone into higher education.

Waterford Chamber Skillnet also enables companies to share experiences and explore potential through networking at training and other events. They have had numerous company site visits to date where companies give a short presentation on a relevant topic and a site tour.
