Objectives
The Leadership Development Program will lay a foundation by reviewing current thinking in leadership, examine role model examples and some of the best practices in the field of leadership development. Discussion and understanding of the role of leadership versus management will provide insights in effectively managing your organizations. Several cultural dimensions of leadership will be identified. Critical core competencies will be addressed such as – create vision/mission/values, ethical behavior, set strategic directions, decision making, building teams, leading change, organizational reviews, effective communication, provide recognition, allocate resources, provide performance feedback, nurturing talent, life-long learning, ensuring viability and sustainability.
