    COURSE OVERVIEW
    The Lead Auditor for OHSAS 18001:2008 is a competency-based 5-day course that teaches the principles and practices of effective Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series (OHSAS)-a UK based management system for occupational health and safety process audits in accordance with these standards. The students are guided through the entire audit process, from managing an audit program to reporting on audit results. The course uses effective methods of learning through a formal classroom tutorials, practical role-playing, group workshops, and open forum discussions.
    OHSAS 18001 has been developed to be compatible with the ISO 9001 (Quality) and ISO 14001 (Environmental) management systems standards, in order to facilitate the integration of quality, environmental and occupational health and safety management systems by organizations, should they wish to do so.
