OHSAS 18001:2007 is a British Standard for Occupation Health and Safety Assessment Series for health and safety management systems, intended to help an organization to control occupational health and safety risks. It was developed in response to widespread demand for a recognized standard against which to be certified and assessed.
IRCA - The International Register of Certificated Auditors (IRCA) is the world's original and largest international certification body for auditors of management systems. IRCA approved training organizations offer certified training courses based on a wide range of management systems standards and industry sectors. IRCA certified training can help a candidate to demonstrate his/her competence as an auditor and go on to achieve professional recognition as an IRCA certified lead auditor.
Course Content:
- Introduction to concepts underpinning the occupational health and safety management
- OHSAS 18001:2007 standard interpretation
- OH & S management issues including operational control
- H&S Audit skills
- Accreditation issues
- Auditor competency
Examination :
- Course will be assessed by a 2 hours, open book examination.
