Course details

This subject covers the fundamental common law and statutory principles of contract law. The topics to be covered include the formation of a valid contract, factors which may vitiate an enforceable contract, terms of a contract, performance and discharge of a contract to the remedies available for breach of a contract.

Objectives

This subject aims to provide students with an understanding of the nature of contracts, the rights and obligations of contracting parties, and the remedies available in the event of a breach of contractual obligations.
