LAMP Web Development from the Ground Up is a set of courses for anyone wishing to become a professional web developer utilizing the very popular LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP). This course is intended for anyone who has little to no knowledge of LAMP web development. We start with the basics and work our way up to advanced topics. After finishing these courses, you will be an expert LAMP developer.

In this course you will learn how to:

• setup a developing environment
• write W3C compliant HTML
• create CSS styles
• write client-side scripts with Javascript

You will do all of this with free open-source software. So there is no additional costs for taking this course other than your time.

In this first course, we learn the foundation of web development: HTML, CSS, and Javascript. All web pages are made with HTML. Modern web developers use CSS to create visually stunning web sites. Javascript is a client-side scripting language. It is used to add dynamic interactions. It is a powerful object-oriented programming language.
