Kids Talk Radio Backpack Journalism Project One

Course details

This is our first course designed for student backpack journalists. A student backpack journalist has to do it all. Our students lean how to conduct research, interview people, write news articles, take photos and videos, create audio and video podcasts,operate a video and still digital camera. Our students have to learn how to edit audio and video podcasts.

Don't worry, you don't have to learn all of this information at once. We break our courses up into smaller teaching units.


Bob Barboza is founder and CEO of Kids Talk Radio, Super School Teen TV, and Super School Press. He is working in partnership with Lauren Elliott, CEO and founder of PNN News. Together they are forming "Youth World News". They want to train student backpack journalist from around the world. Our new project will start with the Cabo Verde Islands and the United States of America.
