This Course has been specifically developed to train people with little or no hairdressing experience to be ready for employment in any hair salon.

The current economic climate has forced many salons to refrain from taking on new recruits due to the enormous cost and time involved in training juniors. This course provides an opportunity for the unemployed, mature student or people wanting to return to work to gain the skills and qualifications required to become an effective employee in the hairdressing business.

If you have a flair for hair and want to turn your passion into an earning career this is the course for you.In only 9 months you could be working in a salon with all the skills required to launch your career as a trainee hairdresser.

Aim of Course:

  • To prepare students for working in a commercial salon

Entry requirements:

  • You must be over 16 years of age
  • Must attend an interview at the College.
  • Must have completed Junior Cert.
  • There are no particular subjects required although a good knowledge of English, Maths and Science would be of benefit.
  • International students must reach academic standard on an English proficiency test such as IELTS

It is the first in the country to offer the new and improved The College is pleased to announce that it is now a FETAC Level 5 registered Centre and is offering Minor and Major FETAC Level 5 Awards.

The College offers Hairdressing cTheirses to cater for all levels from beginners to Senior Stylists and Salon owners who want to keep their skills up to date.
