Through lectures, activities and collaboration, participants will build an implementation plan for using one of the models of blended learning in their classroom.

In this course you will learn about:

  • the current landscape of blended learning in the USA.
  • what resources are available for teachers looking to create a blended learning environment in their own classroom.
  • blended learning rotation models including the flipped classroom.
  • the blended learning flex model.
  • the self-blend model.
  • the enriched-virtual model.

At the end of the course participants are also offered the opportunity to complete a project that will allow them to state the case for implementing a blended learning model in their school.

Throughout this course participants will learn about the concepts while allows acquiring a tool set they can use in their own classroom and also be able to connect with other teachers attempting to implement their own blended learning classrooms.

Completion of this course will take 4-6 hours depending on how much time participants spend on the collaboration and project activities. We hope that during the course you'll be able to connect with other course participants and spend time bouncing ideas off others.
