Course details
To raise the standards of food hygiene, the National Environment Agency (NEA) is implementing a refresher course on food hygiene for all food handlers. They will be required to attend and pass the Refresher Food Hygiene Course every three years. With this course, food handlers will be kept up to date on the policies and best practices, and be reminded of what they need to do to avoid committing food hygiene infringements.

- Do’s and Don’ts When Preparing Food
- Changes / Additions to Food Hygiene
- Regulations Points Demerit System/Legislation
The course will be conducted in English or Chinese
Admission Criteria
- Able to understand simple English or Chinese
- Applicants must declare that they have completed the WSQ Food Hygiene Course and provide a copy of the WSQ Food Hygiene certificate upon registration
Assessment
- Participants will be awarded a Certificate of Achievement by ITE upon passing the written assessment administered by SETSCO and ITE-NEA.
