Course details
Bead and jewellery making covers a multitude of possibilities.
I think for the most part, people would like to wear what they have made themselves. So with that in mind we will start with making a beaded necklace on our first night. For this you will need two contrasting colour beads, say black and gold or white and gold or whatever you fancy, about size 10 or 11 beads; some beading thread (nymo) in white if you are using light coloured beads and black or some suitable colour if you are using darker beads. You will need a beading needle(s), and a catch for your necklace. All this equipment can be purchased in Crown Jewels or in Yellow-Brick Road.
From here on we will decide each night what you would like to do at our following weeks class. I would hope to have at least a couple of necklaces, bracelets, ear-rings, brooches and perhaps and Amulet purse completed by the end of the term. We will be using ordinary florists wire also. When you are used to this you will be able to substitute it with sterling silver wire
