Course details

This course covers the advanced features of the open source Java framework Spring and creating dynamic user interfaces for web applications. This course is aimed at learners who have programming experience and have a working knowledge of the Spring framework and want to advance their knowledge or who have completed Java Spring & User Interfaces 1 at CCT.

Programme Aims and Objectives

This course exposes the learner to the advanced concepts of the Java Spring framework and server implementations for java web applications.

Once this course is completed, the learner will be able to:

  • Design custom web applications that utilise Spring and Ajax
  • Implement an application with a rich user interface
  • Design form validation and security checks in a web application
  • Design and implement a batch processing web application
  • Assess the web application hosting needs
  • Implement a cloud based java web application server
